Hi, I’m Ellie Larsen and I’m a senior at Lexington High School.
My love for theater started in summer camps and middle school classes, but it really grew once I joined the high school program. I discovered a creative and welcoming community where everyone works together to bring stories to life and connect with the audience.
Throughout high school, I’ve explored many aspects of theater. I’ve worked backstage on sound, choreography, and costuming, performed on stage in plays and improv shows, served as an emcee, and taken on leadership roles as an assistant director.
Each experience has shown me how much collaboration and creativity go into making something meaningful on stage.
What inspires me most is the joy and connection that theater creates for both performers and audiences. I’ve always enjoyed working with children, and I believe theater helps them build confidence, empathy, and imagination.
In the future, I hope to teach theater and share that same sense of creativity and community with younger students.
